Normally I would write using correct grammar. However, I want you see this blog post from the point of a child. An extremely young child around the age of 2 to 5 years old. Put yourself as a child coming to your father and asking to be held.
I have a cute niece who asks if she can be held. However, she asks in the sweetest way. “Hold you, Sarah, please?” You read that right. Hold you. I hold her because I cannot resist a polite niece, but I also cannot resist the incorrect grammar. The correct grammar for my niece to say should be “Sarah, can you hold me?”
I will always hold her when she asks because I know that it will be a short time of her asking “Hold you, Sarah, please?” As I thought about my niece asking for me to hold her so politely, I thought about our relationship with Father God. We can go to God and say, “Hold you, Father God?” Or maybe we could use correct grammar and say, “God, will you hold me?”
You see, we can go to God for anything, with anything and anytime we feel like it. We won’t grow out of being held by our Heavenly Father. We know that God will never leave us. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 31:8 that He never forsakes or leaves you.
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (NIV)

We never think about Father God holding us. We forget that He wants the best for our lives. The Bible is a book of promises that we can remind Him of over and over again. If you are a born-again believer, then Jesus’ blood covers your sin, and He does not see your sin, He sees the blood of Jesus. He even tells us about it in His Word in Isaiah 43:26.
“Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.” (NKJV)
This means that we can remind our Father that He must keep His word because when He looks at me, He sees Jesus’ blood and not Sarah or insert your name here believer. Let’s go back to God never leaving us or forgetting us. When we see Father God, we don’t always see the female side. But we see that side in Psalm 91:4.
“He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” (NKJV)
“Hold You Father God?”
A mother hen will give her life for her chicks. Most other female animals will too, but they will also attack. The mother hen will attack, but she will not leave her chicks and she will cover them and die for them. Hm... Does that sound like someone we know? If you said Jesus, then you are right!
So, the next time you need to ask your Father a question, just be as bold as a child. “Hold You Father God?”
Have a nice day… See you soon
